A 100-bed Yoga and Naturopathy Hospital will be built in Dibrugarh, which will be the first in North East India. Union AYUSH Minister along with the Chief Minister of Assam laid the foundation stone of the Central Yoga and Naturopathy Research Institute. An investment of approximately ₹100 crore will be made to develop this state-of-the-art institute on 15 acres of land.
Naturopathy and Yoga are two most important areas of AYUSH which not only cure your diseases but also rejuvenate your mind and body to face every challenge and live a healthy life. With the opening of this hospital and research center on Yoga and Naturopathy, the people of Assam as well as the surrounding area will greatly benefit from its many benefits.
The hospital will provide inpatient, outpatient and day care services. The services offered by the institute are, Naturopathy Diet and Nutrition, Yoga Therapy, Massage and Manipulative Therapy, Acupressure, Acupuncture, Chromotherapy, Magneto Therapy, Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy treatment services. It will help patients effectively manage Obesity, Metabolic Syndrome, Diabetes, CVD, Stroke, Asthma, COPD, Migraine, IBS, IBD, Arthritis, Autoimmune Diseases, Cancer, Neurodegenerative Diseases.
